Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

  • Account details: when you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. We never see your Google or GitHub password
  • Purchase records, if you buy a product, such as what you bought and when
  • Messages you send us through the contact form (name, email, topic and message) or by email, plus the country the message was sent from
  • Usage data, only if you allow analytics: the pages you visit, the prompts you copy, the website that referred you, your device type (mobile or desktop) and your approximate location (country and city)

Your approximate location comes from your IP address, which our hosting provider looks up for us. We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors, we use an anonymous ID that changes every day and cannot be used to identify you.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, keep you signed in, deliver your purchases, reply to your messages and keep the Service secure.

We use analytics only with your consent, to see which pages and prompts are useful. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, or when required by law:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website
  • InsForge, which runs our sign-in and account system
  • Google and GitHub, when you choose to sign in with them
  • A payment provider, if you buy a product

Data retention

We keep your account details for as long as your account is active, and contact messages for as long as we need them to help you. Analytics data is kept for a limited time and the oldest records are deleted automatically.

We keep information longer only where the law requires it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
