Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask for your choice in a pop-up. You can accept all, keep only the necessary cookies, or customize.
Analytics stays off until you turn it on. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, and your new choice applies straight away.
We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again.
Necessary cookies
These keep the site working and secure, so they are always on. They are set by our own site only:
okh_consent: remembers your cookie choice. Kept for 6 months
okh_user: keeps you signed in after you sign in with Google or GitHub. Kept for 30 days, or until you sign out
okh_pkce: protects the sign-in process with Google or GitHub. Kept for 10 minutes
okh_admin: keeps the site owner signed in to the admin area. It is never set for visitors. Kept for 7 days
Analytics
If you allow analytics, your browser tells us when you view a page or copy a prompt. This does not use a cookie. We record the page, the prompt, the website that referred you, your device type and your approximate country and city.
We do not store your IP address. Unique visitors are counted with an anonymous ID that changes every day. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tools, and we never sell this data.
If you choose “Necessary only”, nothing about your visits is recorded.
Third-party cookies
We do not place advertising or tracking cookies from other companies on our site.
When you sign in, you leave our site for Google or GitHub, and the sign-in goes through InsForge, the service that runs our accounts. They may set their own cookies on their own websites, under their own cookie policies.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in, and we will ask for your cookie choice on every visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
